“Deutsch mit Julia” started in 2009 on U-Tube and was thought to be for intermediate to advanced learners to support them with their German. The lessons were posted from Ireland by Julia who is living in Ireland since 2005. She is a German native speaker, born in Berlin and has studied French in the past. Deutsch mit Julia, short DMJ, quickly found an audience with 22 000 views within 2 years on U-Tube. Julia is still posting lessons and information on Facebook and YouTube. She is also collaborating with the Irish online learning site: www.alison.com and two of her courses can be found there with free access.
