Kierons Nostalgie
Kieron hat Urlaub.
Er hat sich ein langes Wochenende frei genommen und bleibt heute lange im Bett.
Er denkt an Elaine, aber die ist ja arbeiten.
Er kramt in einer alten Box, die er unter dem Bett aufbewahrt.
„Die drei Fragezeichen… Folge 6, Der sprechende Totenkopf!“ liest er laut und grinst.
„Lange nicht gehört!“ denkt er dann und schiebt die Kassette in den alten Rekorder auf seinem Nachttisch.
Die Titelmusik beginnt… „Die Drei Fragezeichen…”
Das Telefon klingelt. Kieron schreckt auf. Er war eingeschlafen.
„Guten Tag! Ich bin Justus Jonas, wollen sie mich wegen des Koffers sprechen?“ kommt aus dem Rekorder.
„In der Tat. Ich will doch hoffen, dass ihr ihn noch nicht verkauft habt!“ sagt der groβe, haagere Mann mit tiefer Stimme.
Kieron drückt die Stop Taste und antwortet rasch das Telefon. „Kieron, hallo?“ sagt er.
„Justus, bist du es?“ sagt eine schrille Frauenstimme.
„Nein, Kieron hier!“ sagt Kieron ruhig.
„Oh, Entschuldigung, ich muβ wohl die falsche Nummer gewählt haben!“ sagt die Frau am anderen Ende der Leitung.
„Kann ja mal passieren!“ antwortet Kieron. „Kein Problem!“ ergänzt er und legt auf.
Das war aber komisch, denkt er dann und schaltet den Rekorder wieder ein.

Kieron is nostalgic
Kieron is on holiday.
He took a long week end and is staying in bed for now (longer).
He is thinking of Elaine … but she’s at work.
He goes through and old box he’s keeping under the bed.
“The three investigators (literally: “question marks”), part 6, “The skull that speaks”!” he reads aloud with a grin on his face.
“Haven’t listened to this for a long time!” he thinks and puts the tape into the old tape player on his night desk.
The music intro is starting… “The three investigator…”
…Kieron awakes with a fright… the phone is ringing… he must have fallen asleep (literally: “he had fallen asleep”).
“Good afternoon! (Literally: Good day!) I am Justus Jonas, would you like to talk to me about the suitcase?” streams the tape player.
“Indeed. I hope you haven’t sold it yet?” says the tall and skinny man with a deep voice.
Kieron presses stop on the tape player and answers the phone quickly. “Hello, Kieron here!” he says.
“Justus, is this you?” says a shrill voice of a woman.
“No, it’s Kieron (here)!” says Kieron calmly.
“Oh, my apologies, I must have dialled the wrong number!” says the woman at the other end of the line.
“This can happen!” answers Kieron. “No problem!” he adds and ends the call.
This was very strange; he thinks and turns the tape player on again.
